Note:
- Cars equipped with the "BMW Assist" option: "BMW Assist" is part of the stock radio. Removal of the stock stereo may result in the car displaying "SOS error" in the gauge cluster. To remove this error message, any BMW tech (independent or dealer) can remove the BMW assist option from the car's programming by "coding" the car appropriately. Once the car is coded to remove the option, the error message will no longer show.
